Items of note include bond to carry mail between Buffalo and Erie, 1817; notice of claim with list of goods claimed, 1811; sheriff's certificate of public land sale, 1828; deeds concerning property of Webster family, Fredonia, 1849-1903; legal statement in case of City of Dunkirk vs. Dunkirk and Fredonia Railroad Company and William Downing, relating to the switch from horse cars to electric cars, 1891; and copies of wills and diplomas. Other documents concern or are signed by Fredonia's early settlers, Dr. Squire White, Elijah and Horace Risley, and Hezekiah Barker.
